Every one to two weeks, you’ll switch to a new set of slightly adjusted aligners, which will gradually shift your teeth into position. You should leave them in place for 20 to 22 hours per day, taking them out only to eat, floss and brush your teeth. Most men, women, and teens will get a healthy new smile within one to two years.
How do I take care of my Invisalign aligners?
Brush your Invisalign aligners with toothpaste and warm — not hot — water while you’re brushing your teeth, or use the Invisalign cleaning system.
Just remember to change to a new set of aligners every one to two weeks as directed by Dr. Cattafesta. If you’re forgetful, Invisalign Teen® features a compliance dot on the aligners that turns blue when you need to switch to a new set.
